The Savage Theory of Resolution...
An Epic Action Map For Resolving Issues
Hi, Karleen Here!
A Masters in Conflict Resolution and Negotiations created the course correction I needed. I began practicing mediation for small claims and family court and was called upon for the "hard to resolve" cases. I certified in hostage and crisis negotiations and worked the crisis line and conflict chat sessions online.
I began to see common behaviors bubble to the surface, and I realized using them is what differentiated me from others. I wondered why we waited until the worst of times to use these instead of sharing them so they could be used every day. It was because no one else saw it.
Five skills set me apart from others; five skills used in all three practices.
I found there is a unique ability to listen to a situation, know how to give space and empower people that supports change in the face of horrible conflict, including my own.
I wrote a program as a curriculum that earned me an adjunct professor position at a university and trademarked it as the Savage Theory of Resolution(R).
I'm sharing this knowledge with corporations, multi-state non-profits, civic and women's groups, individual coaching and through workshops, online courses, keynotes and I can do the same for you.

WHAT CHANGED ME
It was my husband's brain injury that triggered me to into this field (thank you Don). Two decades ago, they didn't have the respect for brain injuries like they do today. There I was, a former professional with a household of eight, nine months pregnant and the life altering phone call that sent my future into an abyss, "Honey, I've been in an accident..." Three accidents in nine months and the next 16 years were a blur.
The template solutions of counseling, trying harder, taking a course, reading books and waiting it out wasn't enough.
Under the daily chaos of running a successful business, seven children and a husband with a brain injury I was suffocating. I needed a profound solution, something epic.
The decision to start my Master's program was the solution I needed and the catapult to what I share today. Not everyone needs a Masters to find the powerful results, but it was my answer. Since that time, I realized I'm not alone; today I share what I've learned so others can do this too.
Knowing has not just changed my life but it's launched a movement.
